“I HEART you” in quiltmaker’s 100 blocks
May 01, 2014
I’m so tickled to have a quilt block I designed featured in the Summer 2014 issue of Quiltmaker’s 100 Block magazine. The quilt features my Remix prints and Kona solids. After I designed the block, Teresa Coates was a HUGE help in making it a reality. As always, picking out all the prints and colors was so fun! I think it turned out very cheery! The Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Blog Tour (running April 28th – May 2nd) has some great inspirations and giveaways! Leave a comment here to win a copy of the magazine, as well as a fat eighths bundle of Remix prints + Kona solids! Entries must be posted by Monday, May 5th at midnight. UPDATE: The giveaway is now closed. Thank you for all your sweet comments! Congratulations to the random winner, Lee!

Your hearts are great looking! Good looking fabrics and colors too.
At first glance, I thought there was lace at the bottom of the hearts, but later realized it was material. I like heart quilts, and I have a small confession, I have one unfinished. Its a string quilt and the quilting of it made me so mad and frustrated that I’ve set it aside(for 3 years now.)
Whew I feel better now. Thank you.
My daughter would love if I made her a quilt like that. Congrats on your feature!
CONGRATS TO YOU!
