Several weeks ago I threw a super hero inspired party in celebration of my Super Kids fabric line. It was a blast. Seriously. I had so.much.fun. We met in the country on a 10 acres field complete with a barn (and animals), right outside of Nashville. It was a great day. This inspired party is full of tons of FREE tutorials (listed at the very end of the post), just for you my friends. Giveaway details are also at the end of the post.
You may remember the super hero cape tutorial by Anna. My friend, Brooke, adapted the tutorial to include four variations.
These super hero masks are so fun! They were inspired by the masks the Super Kids are wearing. I worked with Janice in designing the masks. She wrote a detailed FREE tutorial, which you can find here. There are five different mask for you to choose from. At the party, I let the children choose which mask they wanted to wear.
We made cupcake toppers from my Super Kids fabric. These little guys were a hit at the party! After playing, I told the kids “Let’s eat cupcakes!” They ran clear across the field. By the time I had made it to them, they were all standing around the table and pointing to the cupcake they had selected. They loved them and were able to take them home as a little gift.
I designed free printable labels that you can use on your cups or even as cupcake toppers. There are two different versions (hearts or stars).
A party just isn’t complete without garland. You can make this easy-peasy garland using your fabric scraps.
And the icing on the cupcake, I’m hosting a giveaway. I am giving away a yard of each of my Super Kids fabric prints. In addition, my friends over at Tiny Prints are offering a $50 gift certificate. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, November 13th at midnight (central/standard time). There are several ways to enter:
– visit my page at Tiny Prints and tell me your favorite card
– like Ann Kelle on Facebook
– follow Ann Kelle on Instagram
– leave a comment telling me which one(s) you did
A big hug and thank you to Janice and Brooke for sewing the masks and capes. They were perfect! And a special thank you to the all the Moms (Kelly, RaeAnna, Veronica and Ashely) and their adorable children. The day wouldn’t have been the same without you and I’m so very thankful you were there!
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who entered. The giveaway is now closed.
