christmas in july: christmas trees quilt
July 18, 2012This is such a clever, modern quilt for Christmas. Christmas trees for a Christmas quilt! Laurie Matthews is the creative brains behind this quilt and has written out a free pattern just for you. But, her awesomeness doesn’t end there. With the left over scraps, she also has created a fun Christmas tree skirt and stocking for her new arrival.

Wow! What a gorgeous quilt! Thank you for the free pattern! That stocking and tree skirt is so beautiful, too! Thank you Laurie and Kelle! 🙂
Great job Laurie. I love this quilt.
Thanks for the opportunity! These fabrics are so fresh and whimsical. Let me know if you ever need someone to “play with your fabrics” again – I am always willing!
Love this!!! Perfect for the holidays: )
GORGEOUS!!!!
Love this! now I know what to do with all those left over strips
Where can I get the pattern. I love it. I make quilts and that would be a wonderful quilt.
Thanks! Laurie did a great job! Here’s a link to the pattern: christmas trees quilt
thanks so much for the pattern. I was looking for something like this and it will do perfectly.
Absolutely LOVE this!
What a divine, fresh looking quilt. I simply love it! The fabrics make this quilt pop!!!
I could see this as a Halloween quilt too. Substitute the white triangles with black, green or purple and make the pieced triangles orange prints with a white tip so it looks like candy corn. My girlfriend, June would love it, as one of her favorite candies is candy corn, which always reminds me of her:)
What a great idea!

What size is this? Love it!!! Could one use another solid color besides white? Thinking about how white could easily stain over the years.
Hi Sharron, The finished size is 54 x 68. I think a darker color would be nice.
How can I get this pattern? The link doesn’t work. Can you email it? For the Christmas in July: Christmas trees quilt
