quilting with a modern slant
January 27, 2014
Quilting with a Modern Slant by Rachel May is a new book that is just hitting book stores. The book includes interviews from the people from the quilting community, projects and tons of inspiration, not to mention there’s some pretty gorgeous quilts featured. There’s so much inspiration in the book and it’s really interesting to read the stories of so many people in the quilting community. Rachel interviewed me for the book and boy, was I nervous. My interview is found in the the “For the Love of Color” section . . . because I really love color. I talk about my “story” in starting Ann Kelle. Kelly made this AWESOME heart quilt for the book. She used kona solids and prints from my Remix collection. We sat in a coffee shop to discuss the layout and pick out the colors, fabrics, etc . . . I always like picking out the colors and prints. To read more about the book, head here or purchase one here . Thank you, Rachel for including me in the book. I’m quite honored.
