sneak peek: girl friends

I’m so excited to share with you the next adventure for my “Girl Friends” fabric collection. You may remember, I started drawing one of the girls as a ballerina when I was eight or nine. So, it was only natural that the next journey for the girls would be ballerina dancers. Â I’ve always had an admiration for ballerina dancers and gymnasts. I recently asked a Julliard graduate (now a teacher) Â if it was too late for me to pursue ballet. She kindly replied it wasn’t . . . although, I know better. Instead, I’ll happily live through my girls in this fabric collection. This fabric collection starts shipping to stores in February.

Too cute! And you should do ballet! It would be great excersize, toning, flexibility, balance, etc. All things we need as we get older. It would probably be a wonderful time to decompress. Listen to me–I don’t do a darned thing!
