free skirt tutorial
May 08, 2012Our teacher for the day is Miss Darci Barnhart. She made an adorable skirt tutorial for me to share with you guys. She combined three of my Remix dots prints, which I bet Julie is going to love. It even has pockets! I personally think all skirts and dresses should have pockets. So, in my book, this skirt is perfection. Find the free tutorial here.

i love it
SOOO cute!! Thanks for Tutorial!!
I love the pocket on this skirt and the mix colors. What size skirt is this, I would love to make one for my soon to arrive grand daughter…
Thank you! This skirt was made for a little girl in grade school.
Love this skirt! How would I convert the size to fit 3T?
Hi Julie! Thank you! Darci did a great job making the skirt. I’m not sure how to convert it, but I found some other toddler skirt tutorials that might work for you. Hope that helps!
What does WOF mean, hate to sound so dumb, love
this pattern, thank you soooo much for the tutorial
Hi Brenda, “WOF” means “width of fabric”. Enjoy the tutorial! Kelle
Would this fit a 1st grader?
Hi Fabiana,
I checked with Darci, who wrote the pattern. She said it should be fine. Elastic will just be cut for her waist measurement. The finished length on that skirt is 14″. If it needs to be longer, then adjust the main fabric. (She has notes at the end of the tutorial). Her daughter was 7 when she made it for her and it hit at the top of her knee.
